What is Nils Nation?
Firstly, who is Nils? Nils is the voice inside all of us. He is the health we strive for, and the athletics we believe in. He is determination for a lifestyle in which we live for the moment. He is the coach in all of us, the one that keeps us motivated & inspired.
Secondly, what is a nation? A nation is a group of people that share a common culture, language and ethnicity. These people do not necessarily form a country, but share an ideal – a principle.
Who is Nils?
Nils has been a tennis coach and operator of the Pro Ten and Nils Nation tennis and running camps for the past 30 years. He has coached on the college level and high school level, in both tennis and track & field; also having played college tennis at Pace College in New York. Coach Nils is also a member of the PTR- Scholastic Coach organization.
Coach Nils started his teaching career in New York City and has a strong belief that “all kids should participate in life sports such as tennis and running”. Coach Nils resides in Connecticut and is the current Cross-Country, Indoor Track, and Tennis Coach for Hamden Highschool in Hamden, CT
